My poem 'In Solitude' was pubished!!!
Hey...this is a poem i wrote several months ago.I had submitted it onto poetry.com for the hell of it, since i was bored.So0.i got a letter yesterday that was sent from them. It was a certificate telling me i won the Editor's Choice Award..for outstanding acheivement in poetry.Its gunna be in a Deluxe hardbound edition..and something called the sound of poetry.They said i was wonderfully expressive..and displays unique perspective & original creativity....yay..im published!!!!
"In solitude"
In solitude i ponder why im feeling oddly cold.
The feeling no one loves me & im lost &
on my own.
Cold & Lonely with no one to console me, I lay in bed alone.
I cry myself to sleep while wishing you were here to hold me.
I wait the day my angel comes & lifts me to my feet,
To take me from this awkward darknes & help me live my dreams.
Back to reality & simply disillusioned,
the fallen star shines brightly now...
With loss of mounting confusion.
